Open LTS Connect on the phone or tablet.
Select the site / NVR.
Open the desired camera.
Tap the Playback option.
Select the date from the calendar.
Select the camera if not already selected.
Use the timeline at the bottom to move to the desired time.
Pinch the timeline to zoom in/out for more accurate time selection.
Rotate the device sideways for wider viewing if needed.

Playback availability depends on the actual recordings stored on the NVR, not the phone.
The app will only show days/times where recording exists.
If a day has no recording, check:
NVR recording schedule
HDD status
Camera online status
Whether footage has already been overwritten
Retention depends on hard drive size, number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, motion vs continuous recording, and overwrite settings.

Monitor connected to the NVR by HDMI or VGA
USB mouse connected to the NVR
NVR login credentials
Right-click on the live camera screen.
Select Playback.
Choose the camera/channel from the camera list.
Double-click the desired date on the calendar.
Use the playback timeline at the bottom to move to the correct time.
Use play, pause, fast-forward, reverse, frame-by-frame, or digital zoom as needed.
Official LTS NVR documentation states that playback can be accessed from Menu > Playback, channels are selected from the channel list, and dates with available recordings are shown on the calendar.

Click the clip/scissors icon to start clipping.

If the USB drive is not detected:
Click Refresh.
Remove and reconnect the USB device.
Try a different USB drive.
Format the USB drive from the NVR if appropriate.
LTS documentation specifically lists refresh, reconnecting the device, checking compatibility, and formatting the USB device from the recorder as recovery steps.

For evidence or incident review, export the shortest useful clip, not the entire day.
Always verify the exported file before deleting or overwriting anything.
Do not remove the USB drive until the NVR confirms export is finished.
For important incidents, export footage as soon as possible to avoid overwrite.
